They cried, they laughed. And to be honest: They laughed a lot! They hugged, kissed and danced. Oh and about dancing: Groom Patrick did this in perfection! The wedding of him and his beautiful bride Kathi was emotional, intimate, wonderful, loud and funny. Yes, this is how to describe the day of these two.
Kathi and Patrick said YES to each other in june 2018 in Moedling, Upper Austria, with their beloved ones. The day started at Babenbergerhof, where I already took the pictures of Kathi getting ready. In the midst of her best friends, her sister and her mother she prepared for her special day, and got dressed with her beautiful wedding gown. Just a little time later Patrick was standing in front of the altar. Nervous? Yes, definitly! At the latest of his friends, best man and maid of honor coming into the church, some small tears fraternised with his sunny laughs. And Kathi? She walked down the aisle with her father, laughing!
After a very emotional wedding we drove to the „Schwarzer Turm“ (black tower) in Moedling. Beside me there was my colleague Santiago, who filmed the wedding video for them. In the gallery below you find some funny making-of-photos of us two, shot by my second shooter David. David in turn prove his cat-like balance as he was very quick and nimble climbing around the rocks with my red smokebomb.
We heard some emotional speeches of the father of the bride and Patrick, and the delicious food and wedding cake were next. Oh, and have you ever been to a wedding where the weddingcake was presented with the Champions League themesong? Okay, me neither! But with a groom and his boys being enthusiastically soccerplayers, there’s no way choosing another song, right?
My day at their wedding ended after a wonderful first dance with the soundtrack of Ed Sheerans „Perfect“, superromantic with tears in everybodys eyes, sweet smiles and sparklers.
